Bought an old pair of vintage goggles from ebay, stuck some one way gold film to the inside of the lens (the stuff you use to tint car windows)

Sprayed the front of the lens with a little car brake tinting paint

I'd love to do another pair, i'm still not overly happy with them... though I didn't wear them much at the conventions i took them to, people kept running off with them :XD: And i'd offer them to other more awesome Alucards too :XD:

Oh wow are you serious!? Would you do a commission of them? I will be doing Alucard pretty soon and I'd love for such amazing glasses! Name your price for materials and labor, I'm all for it! :iconexcitedplz:

Seriously they aren't hard to make

You just need to eBay a decent-ish pair of vintage goggles

like so maybe?

The one way gold film you can get from eBay too in big rolls (you need big rolls, this stuff is fiddly) or from car modding shops

If i can find the roll i could cut you a big slice to use... if i can remember where i put it

I don't think i could do a commission though, i have no confidence in anything i make ^^;

Actually! I took a look at that link you sent and I think I'm gonna do it! I'd just have to find the film you're talking about next.

You'll need something like this

link

But there is no way you need this much. You only need about 1/2 a metre and that is only if you mess up every time, like i said this stuff is very fiddly to work with; it's very easy to get bubbles in it when you're sticking it to the back of the lenses

But you might be more patient than i was ;)
